ECM Identification and ALDL Issues 92 Z28
Hello!
I have a 93 S10 with a 5.7 TPI swap from a 92 Z28.
I did not do the swap. I just recently bought the truck not running, and have now gotten it to kinda run, but not well, and was hoping to tap into the computer to get some data logs and see what is going on.
It seems like the harness and all the electronics from the donor Camaro have been transferred.
I bought a Moates ALDU1 and CABL1 and TunerProRT. I got that connected to the ALDL port, and am able to connect in TunerProRT but it’s still showing “hardware not found” in the bottom. I tried using 2 different $8E adx files.
I am getting 5V on ALDL pin E (orange wire) and that is continuous with pin A8 of connector C1 (the smaller middle black one) on my ECM.
I think I have a 1227730 ECM but am not 100% on that. If someone could confirm that would be great because it’s a remanufactured ECM and doesn’t have super clear marking. I’ve attached photos of the ECM.
Other than ECM Identification, if anyone has other ideas and could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.
