Got inspired by these posts discussing how most OIs aren't fully reflective of IRL modern Otome Game plots so just for fun, let's have a discussion where we get to make our own OI plots based on your favorite existing otome games! As per the standard OI story, the following plot beats should be there. Here they are as guide questions of sorts:
Which side character (or villainess, if there's any) would you be reincarnated as? (for example, characters like Ivy from Bustafellows, Ao-chan from Jack Jeanne, Charlotte from Mistonia, or, for a villainess example, Claudia from Temirana)
As most OI MCs do, how much would you change the plot if it would help you or your favorite characters achieve a happy ending for everyone (this is more common in OIs where MCs are reincarnated as children before the plot happens, e.g., Hamefura)?
Side note: you have the power of plot armor on your side (if you so wish), so just pretend ya'll have that protagonist privilege on your side in your OI plot like most OI MCs do, even tho realistically, I know most of us are incapable of doing half the things OI MCs can do in their stories 😅
