Outline or Go with the Flow
Title says it all. How many of you outline heavily vs just start writing? I am writing a sci-fi project right now and I am spending a crazy amount of time world building/outlining. Its fun and I like it but it doesn't really feel like progress sometimes.
What is your workflow for either one? For the worldbuilders/outliners, what do you use to track everything?
For the go with flow folks, how do you manage consistency?
