Lets say 'Guy' believes in the power of self-confidence. He genuinely believes that you can do whatever you set your mind to. Like people breaking limits and records after they found out things were possible/were unaware that they were doing the impossible. Think self help books amped up to 11
He genuinely believes that rags to riches Billionaires and atheletes only became so rich because they believed in themselves (rather than luck or genetics) and most people fail because they're held back by their beliefs of what is possible
He justifies paradox as 'self sabotage because of self consciousness' and sees it as more the consequences of doubting yourself/becoming self conscious because of other people watching you than backlash. He avoids vulgar magic when possible bc he got paradoxed and publically embarassed the first time he did it and sticks to what he can reliably believe himself to do
Ironically his biggest limitation is self-doubt as he can't see himself developing psychic powers (correspondence) or breathing fire (prime) as easily as manifesting good fortune (entropy) or seeing the truth most people have gaslighted themslves to not see (spirit) or just more outlandish and vulgar magic
He has to hype himself up and repeat like self help book mantras to do more outlandish feats to actually believe he can do it for a moment
