I just got my EBT, and I'm wondering if I shouldn't have been able to get one. I'm a college student living in the dorms. I'm still claimed as a dependent on my parents' taxes. I have a limited/reduced meal plan, and have been making most of my food at the dorm. I'm currently unemployed. Some of my friends who were in the same boat got denied, so I'm wondering if I should have been denied, too. If I should have been, what should I do now?
