Hello everyone! Hope you're all having a good day.
Been trying to understand perspective better to improve my art, but this is something I just can't understand. The way I get it is that your horizon line is where the "eye level" is, and you place your vanishing points along the horizon line.
In the images, I want to draw a retail counter for a store at about 3/4s view. The top part looks fine to me, but then I get to the bottom. I figure okay, I'll just readjust where the lines are aaaaand it looks really weird.
My best guess is that the vanishing points are too close together, they're right at the edge of the screenshots, but how do you tell where to put them? Is it just a matter of feeling it out until it works?
