Interest only mortgage nationwide
Hi all -
We are looking to move to a larger house so more expensive. We’d port our existing nationwide mortgage and add a new mortgage with a target 75% LTV.
I’d like the new mortgage to be interest only with a view to paying it down when I get extra cash.
For the formal reason to provide nationwide, what are the valid arguments I can make for an interest only mortgage? I’ve seen people say that they can say they will downsize in retirement. Is that viable?
