I built a reader that refuses to break. With In-App Parsers, you’re always in control of your library.
Hey everyone, Like a lot of you, I was pretty annoyed when my favorite manga apps started disappearing or stopped working on my older hardware (I’m on Android 7).
Instead of giving up, I decided to build Tsuki, a reader that’s all about stability, longevity, and actual features. It’s optimized to run smooth on anything from Android 6.0 up, but it’s packed with modern tools that work great on any device.
What’s under the hood:
Total Tracking: Full support for MAL (MyAnimeList), AniList, and Kitsu. Discord RPC: Show your friends what you’re reading in real-time with Discord Rich Presence
Offline Reading: Full download support so you can save your chapters and read anywhere.
In-App Parsers:This is the big one. If a site breaks, you can edit or add sources manually inside the app's UI. You don’t have to wait for a GitHub update to keep reading.
Growing Library: I’m constantly adding new in-app parsers to increase compatibility with more websites every day.
Customization: You can customize how the navigation bar or search bar looks, if you wanna customize your background looks or do you want the app to have just dark theme, it's up to you ! You can customize many things in the app and more features will come during the development.
Performance Mode: For older and less powerful devices, the app has inbuilt performance mode to increase the app's performance while using the setup as shown in the photos, with ease!
Join the Team! I’m building this entirely on my phone with a little Kotlin knowledge, and I’m looking for some friendly people to help take this project to the next level:
Alpha & Beta Testers: I need people to try the app on different devices and help me find bugs! If you want early access to new features, come join.
Moderators: To help me keep our new Discord server a nice, chill place for the community.
Contributors: If you know Kotlin/Compose or want to help with anything with the app, you're very much welcome to do so!
If you’re looking for a reader that is feature-rich but won't give up on your hardware, come say hi!
