Hello r/USCIS

The firm I am working for filed a federal complaint against Meneses Law that I think a lot y’all might want to watch.

In plain English, it alleges a high-volume pipeline steering vulnerable immigrant clients into VAWA self-petitions they didn’t ask for and didn’t qualify for, using manufactured abuse narratives, signatures obtained without informed consent, and refusal to release the client file when the client tried to investigate.

Main counts (kept em general): legal malpractice / breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, civil conspiracy / negligent supervision, consumer/deceptive practices with fee shifting, and of course, civil RICO & RICO conspiracy.

Feel free to reach out if you or anyone you know were victims of a similar scam or almost fell for such a scam.

Don't be surprised if more lawsuits against these types of scammers start popping up….
