Need advice after a battery fire

My son’s e-bike recently caught fire in the garage while charging. Luckily we got to it right away and kept it subdued a bit with a fire extinguisher until the fire department got there. However it was smoking heavily and there is a lot of soot everywhere in the garage now.

How should we go about cleaning this? Since it contains toxins do all cloth items such as suitcases, camping tents and sleeping bags, lawn chairs, etc. need to be thrown out? What about the mini fridge? As for the metal and plastic items like work bench, racks, storage bins, etc. the fire investigator said it’s something we can do ourselves but it seems like a job for professionals with mask and gloves?

We got a quote from a fire restoration company and they said they wanted to throw everything away, re-do all flooring and walls, and charge our insurance company $10k for the work and value of items. It seemed like overkill so we contacted an industrial cleaning company and they quoted $2500 to clean everything. Any guidance or advice is appreciate.
