A story that started in class 3rd and somehow still lives in my memories

She was my crush since class 3rd ❤️

I proposed to her in class 8th, but she always wanted us to stay “just friends” because she didn’t want to ruin the friendship. I stayed close anyway, hoping someday things would change… and after 4 years, they finally did.

We got into a relationship, and honestly, it felt magical ✨

Those innocent late-night talks, school memories, dreams about the future — everything felt perfect.

But somewhere along the way, I lost focus on myself. Couldn’t crack IIT, ended up in IIIT instead. Then came long distance, and slowly she started feeling distant too.

By my 2nd year, someone else proposed to her… and she said yes.

That phase completely broke me. Cigarettes and alcohol became my escape for a while 🚬🥃

But thanks to my friends and family, I somehow kept going.

Life eventually changed. I got a scholarship to Japan, studied there, worked there, and now I’m working in an MNC in Bangalore.

She’s married now. Life moved on.

But even today, I still remember her phone number by heart… and somehow, no one has ever looked as beautiful to me as she did back then.

Maybe first love never really leaves you. It just quietly becomes part of who you are.

Need some honest insight from people working with Japanese companies or in Japan-related roles 👀

I’ve noticed that many Japanese companies hire SDEs even without strong Japanese skills, but for roles in Data/Business Analysis, they often ask for JLPT N3 or higher.

I’ve already been to Japan on a scholarship before, and currently work as a BA in an MNC in Bangalore — but still seeing strict language requirements for BA/Data roles 😅

Is it because client interaction and requirement gathering need more cultural/language understanding compared to development roles? Or is there another reason behind this hiring trend?

Would genuinely love to hear perspectives from people in the industry 🇯🇵📊

Genuine question 😅

Whenever I’m back in Kanpur, weekends feel kinda… empty. Like apart from the usual chai-sutta, random drives, or hanging out with friends, there’s not much to do 🥲

Sometimes I go towards Naimisaran side via car-ride for a chill vibe 🌿 but that’s also once in a while.

Am I missing something or is this actually the scene here?

What do you guys usually do on weekends? Any good spots, plans, or hidden gems? 👀
