BP broke my will with pretty...

I am not a meta player by any means. And while I spend money on the game, I limit myself to the first Jukebox upgrade and roaring month. I pull characters I like, but filling a niche makes me much more likely. I try to balance.

I almost NEVER buy garments. And the few I have, it's when I think they fit the original vibe of the character.

...but this patch crumbled my walls. Those clothes don't fit 6's vibe. He just looks really, really good in them.

I also don't have Liang Yue, which as far as I can tell means Cheng Heguang is going to get about as much use as J currently does. But...so pretty.

I didn't spend money for Cheng Heguang. I had the unilogs. But now I don't have any. I will save up and hope the 50/50 is kind to me for Enigma.

But this month, shallowness won. And I am content.

Hello friends.

I'm 43 years old and am meeting with a gyn/onc for the first time tomorrow. My diagnosis is what seems to be the usual: complex hyperplasia with atypia, possibility of hidden stage 1 cancer.

I am lucky enough to have a background which gives me some tools to understand things, for which I am grateful.

But I have one hiccup: I have epilepsy. The medication I use to treat that, Lamotrigine, is *very strongly* contraindicated with estrogen. I've tried several medications and the Lamotrigine has been safe and successful for decades. Attempts over the years to shift to others have been less than ideal.

Obviously the crux of this will come down to "discuss with my neurologist and gyn-onc". But I like to go in with some information to better guide my questions and, if necessary, inform any self-advocacy. The internet has not been overly helpful so far.

My normal gynecologist looked at me like I'd grown a second head when I tried to raise the issue with him. I don't think he really comprehended why any pre-menopausal woman might need another option to estrogen. At first he thought I was going "ew, HRT!? But I'm not trans!" and started to go into an explanation that HRT is a general word and used for many functions. I live in an area of the country that is not particularly accepting, but I was taken aback that my *doctor's* first thought was that I was afraid of HRT because the same term is used for the treatment of trans folks.

Hopefully the oncologist will be more understanding. Even if we ultimately decide to stop the Lamotrigine or try to micromanage dosing to prevent seizures, I would like a doctor who understands why it's important to me to at least TRY.

So has anyone premenopausal foregone estrogen and tried alternatives? My personal research shows there are some medications to handle symptoms like hot flashes, but obviously the physical discomforting symptoms are just the tip of the iceberg of what is about to happen in my body.
