Did this scene ever come off a little strange to you?
The initial question after the excited died down to me was how could this be right? The moon, despite being the Phantasmoon was impossibly close to the ground despite it being a focal creation of Aha itself. When you compare it to the views you get of where the TB was knocked down..
And then you consider the actual height of where the moon was when you travel back up there.
It made me come to heavily double take exactly WHAT happened during that whole scenario. So I've went into lore diving mode and looked back into the readables, which surprisingly held a surprising amount of consistency in having textual explanations reflect real events. This is where it lead me, the readable called 'The Great Crisis of Phantasmoon's Changing Expression at the End of the Century.'
Primarily, the 4th section of this readable where this person goes into a really interesting explanation.
What I want to hone in on primarily is the instance of 'Everything just now was merely a dream.' While this can be how the person perceived such a bizarre circumstance, the literal remembrance of it despite being a dream feels TOO strong for them to perfectly describe such a fleeting concept. Instead, what if they managed to experience a instance in what I'd like to call 'Imaginary Space' for this idea? Within the same excerpt they also made sure to add this additional note, as if wanting to really hone your thoughts on this.
Now I want to drag this back to the Trailblazer with these pieces in mind. I believe that they might've not just fallen from the tower in that moment, but amidst such a powerful aggregate of Wishpower on top of the Stellaron's ability to harmonize with it? They actually just fell out of REALITY overall. There's actually a scene before being devoured of the moon that plays on this element.
During the TB's descent, it was a storm of these manifested voices dragging through their being. We get no visual cue due to them being unconscious, BUT, what this does do is set up the same weird conditions as the writer of this excerpt would explain. When you have the TB awaken, rather than having a scene of the moon actually spitting him out...
You get them just waking back up at this moment?? This is what HEAVILY made me come to believe this was a one for one parallel to this moment. We seen the encounter of that Imaginary space with TB and the Abundance awakened Evanescia, and the effect of it in kind as well in being able to manifest that new power as they begin walking their Path of the Elation.
Now I want to bring in the very piece alongside the above instance that motivated me to make this to begin with from that same readable.
To have this set of events played out as 'Imagination' alone made me believe this person had a genuine encounter within Planarcadia's Collective Unconscious, just as the TB did when awakening the power of Elation. From how the Phantasmoon gazed fondly upon them, alongside them dreaming up a normally impossible (for HSR's current standards) but entirely nonsensical scenario, Imaginary Space briefly converging with Real Space feels like it'd be a perfect explanation as to how this happened.
Any thoughts? Did this spark any ideas for you as well? Feel free to leave them here!
