I’m trying to skip the usual tourist-heavy spots. Looking for places that feel more local, where people actually hang out day to day.

Would love recommendations for:

  • Hidden cafes / quiet coffee shops
  • Lowkey bars or speakeasy style spots
  • Creative spaces, art districts, indie shops
  • Local eateries or street food areas that aren’t super touristy

Basically anything with a more “real Taipei” vibe like chill neighborhoods, backstreet gems, or places you’d actually go to unwind after work or school.
