Are RDNA 3 gpus viable options now?

In my opinion, introducing FSR 4.1 to these gpus was the bare minimum and they didn't even talk about ray regeneration. RDNA 2 gpus are out of the picture, we never know if they will be still viable options next year. When we talk about AMD, we talk about great price to performance gpus but to me rtx 30 series gpus are better value and every feature works out of the box and might argue better performance and better driver support. So the question is: is this fsr 4 inclusion in older RDNA gpus makes them better value or is it just fan service?
