Hey guys — I live in Ann Arbor these days. My seven year old son has started to pick up lacrosse and I’m interested in playing a bit myself so that I can improve my game and teach him. (He is a short little guy without a lot of natural athleticism, so it’s really exciting that he likes a sport.)
I do know the rules of lacrosse and I can play a little bit (I’m a St. Paul’s kid, from back in Baltimore — it’s in my blood). However, I never seriously played growing up and I am looking for some kind of summer adult league that would welcome a new player.
ULAX’s spring season is almost over and I’m a little worried they won’t welcome a new player; it looks like a pretty serious league for guys who played in undergrad.
If not a formal league… does anyone out here want to just meet up and throw it around?
