Hi ladies and gentlemen. It’s nice to meet y’all. I stopped by because I am new to music production. I am not trying to sign to a record label, I am trying to stay independent and just make music as a fun fun hobby. I am a newbie who is diagnosed with asthma, anxiety, autism, and ADHD. I used to use Bandlab and now I am switching up to FL Studio because Bandlab is going downhill and the Sounds and Loops from there are not free anymore. I But that doesn’t stop me from wanting to make music. I wanted to ask if it is okay to use the Stamp Tool to start off making chord progressions before I make Melodies on my Akai MPK Mini keyboard? I’m ready to man up, stop labeling myself, stop making excuses, and just make music. I have to focus on one thing at a time because my brain will get overstimulated if I focus on more than one thing. Nobody owes me anything and nobody is coming to save me. I must do it all on my own. FL Studio’s Stamp Tool reminds me of the Smart Chords feature from Bandlab. I want to start making emo rap, melodic trap, RNB, RNB TrapSoul, hip hop, boom bap, pop ballad, country, country trap, pop punk, alternative indie rock so bad. Has the Stamp Tool been beneficial for anyone who just got started making chord progressions?
