Was rewatching the episodes where Ventress helps Kenobi out when Maul first comes back. In the escape we see Ventress armed with only one lightsaber get disarmed and when ObiWan gets his back, returns Ventress' other lightsaber, but there wasn't time to get back the first. The shuttle, with both Maul and Savage then gets picked up by Vizla and brought to Concordia. Later in the show we see both of Ventress' lightsabers being used by Barris in the Ahsoka Trial Arc (forget the official name). So my question is: how did the lightsaber that was lost get into Barriss' possession? Did Maul/Savage or Vizla find it, take it, then at some point lose it where it made its way to Barriss? This lost chain of custody/story bothers me more than I know it should. Anyone have thoughts as to what happened?
