Hi all, I'm mostly a spearhead player with a few of my friends, but I've decided that I quite like S2D and want to at least get a 1000pt force going. I've considered buying a couple kits (e.g. chosen, varanguard), but I'm in Australia where everything is expensive, so I want to make sure I'm not wasting money. To that end, it doesn't need to be super competitive, but I also don't want to auto-lose. My current collection includes the S2D spearhead and a Daemon Prince (since it's a cool-looking model). The thing I'm somewhat interested by is the Darkoath spearhead -> do you guys think it would be a good buy in terms of $/points and in terms of rounding out the army a bit? I feel like it could add some decent chaff and action monkeys, but still be decent value and a fun sort of painting project (along with being enough to get me clear of 1000 points even without the DP I believe). Let me know your thoughts please, and alternative approaches, along with what else to get much later when it's all painted to get to 1500 points.
