The Consortium and its four current units will be taking in more people over the coming days — anyone interested may undertake an interview and we'll see if you're a good match for one of our units.

Some information which may be helpful to preemptively aim for a unit or figure out if you're even remotely a good match for them at all:

🌼Sovereign Guard is our toughest group to assimilate to. They're not assholes and they take care of their teammates, but when the mission's been strapped in, they give no mercy. If you're looking for players who can be both helpful, consistent, tough and get the job done, you want Sovereign Guard.

🌸Samurai of Sakura is a newly joined Japan/Canada-based unit with a low-profile, easy-going attitude built on confidence and planning. It'll help to know Japanese, but it's not a requirement.

🦉Nyctimene is built for support. Their armory is full of mechs, ammo packs, sentries and handheld artillery. If something needs to be protected, they'll get it done.

🐉House Infernal is a group that loves wild destruction. No inch of a planet is safe from napalm, bombs and gas with Infernal's resident psychopaths on the scene.

Besides that, our alliance is also accepting any small units (no more than around 40 players) that may be interested in becoming a new part of the Consortium. The reason we need you to be small is due to the logistics of vetting and approving each member you choose to being in (not necessary for units to invite everyone from their group, though you're free to if you want).

Only thing we require is that the unit leader takes part in our server alongside at least one moderator, as both will not only take responsibility for their unit within the alliance's activities, but will become a part of our server and alliance's leadership staff and help decide on events and operations we take on. The decision of whether you can become an executor (co-owner) in our server will fall on the other unit leaders and ultimately the chief executor herself (Nyctimene's leader who is the agent owner of the server). Your warden (moderator) will have to be approved, so please try to have a few options in case your first choice doesn't make the cut.

If you're fairly sure you want to take part, you can skip to a faster vetting process and speak to our chief recruiter "qcleviathan" on Discord. You'll still have to do an interview, but it'll be much faster. If you're joining as a recruit for a unit, all you need to do is answer for yourself. If you're a representative of a unit wanting to join our alliance, you must absolutely make sure you're speaking not for yourself but for your unit and be sure that everything you say is the stance of your unit.

CGC (the Consortium Gaming Clan), is on the look-out for gamers needing a place to engage in constructive competitive RTS, sandbox and shooters, as well as general social gaming with a variety of options.

Among our most popular community games are Helldivers 2, Dune Awakening, Species Unknown, Stellaris, Age of Empires IV, Dune Spice Wars and War Thunder — plus many more occasional games among the extraction shooter, RTS/GS and open-world sandbox genres. We organize competitions, giveaways and of course we offer a range of artwork for social media/gaming profiles and profile banners to our valued membership.

As Summer gets into swing, we will also be relaunching our Youtube channel with content recorded and edited over the next few weeks. Participation in those videos can be arranged through our procrastinative Youtube team who work almost hard enough to get by.

But gaming is not all we have. Consortium is a community of friends and everything is cattered to maintain the careful balance we pride ourselves on; we are a community of socially active adults, many of whom are parents and career professionals who can balance gaming with life and never fail to bring worthwhile insight, humour and comradery to each other.

We pride ourselves on a meticulously structured gaming and social space that allow adults to be adults. We're not afraid of the human body, we're able to talk about politics and religion without descending into aggressive insults, we can shit-talk each other without destroying friendships, we're always there for our fellow man and woman — and in times like this, we understand the world is in a bad place and we offer somewhere people can escape it or gripe about it without unfair judgement. We do that because each and every person in Consortium has invested emotionally with their fellow members and knows they're among people, rich and poor, lazy and hard-working, dumb and smart, who listen and understand.

Sufficed to say that Consortium Gaming is best avoided if you're under the age of 18. As an up-front rule (more are available in the server guidelines), if you use an adult account to circumvent our adults-only environment and you're caught, you'll be removed.

After some springtime clean-up and the new warbond, Nyctimene is ready to accept more recruits. As always, the alliance as a whole requires anyone wishing to join be an adult and uphold acceptable standards of respect and maturity.

For those unfamiliar with Nyctimene, it is a unit of strategic aid and support. Whether a team needs ammo, heavy vehicular weaponry or the complete annihilation of an area, Nyctimene is there to bring equivalent and efficient force down on it. Those with expertise in mechanized warfare, supply management and arbitrary ordinance use are in particular demand.

As we'd like to limit our posts, we'll be tacking on a few small topics here as well — primarily to address a few recent concerns.

We're still working to root recent raids and incidents by guests (new recruits) in our server, and sadly security measures continue to be prohibitive to many wanting to genuinely join. We apologize for that, but the behaviour of many simply has been unacceptable and everyone who has been trying to join us have had to carry the inconvenience of that even when they've done nothing wrong. We ask you have a lot of patience with the process of vetting in our server. It can sometimes take a while to earn the trust of the server, but we assure you it is not only worth it, but that the more effort you put into it, the faster it'll go.

But it's not all bad, we've started the final touches on a series of videos which will be released on our Youtube this weekend. Some are promotional videos, others are full-length, hours-long game sessions recorded by the units and provide unfiltered glimpses at the comedy, real people stories, in-game strategy and comradery they live with each day. We'll be posting to Helldivers 2 reddit when they come out, but if you want, you can also PM me and I'll be sure to share it.
