Tldr: Does anyone else here have any more info on kerrygold butter being banned in Canada?

I'm an avid fan of Kerrygolds' cheeses, especially Dubliner. I could live off this stuff (and sometimes have in the past).

But I haven't been able to find Kerrygold butter in years since I moved back to Canada, and it's been driving me mad! I thought it was because I moved back, to a different small town (3ish years ago), and nobody carried it here.

After some more internet rabbit hole searching about this, I come to find it's apparently been banned from being sold in Canada???

WHAT!?

Apparently it has been banned for at least 3 years now...

It was my favourite butter for so long, my heart is broken lol.

Edit: I ask here because I KNOW this community of my fellow Keto'ers may be some of the most informed on the status of certain butters. Lol. 💖
