My first MPC beat. Also question about recording quality.
I love the MPC sample. Very easy to use and understand.
This video was recorded with a Hosa CMP-159 wire connected from the MPC Sample audio out L/R (red and black) to my 'mic in' on my PC, and used an audio capture app to create an mp3 file to later match up the sound with what I was playing live on the video. I use video editing software to match up the video and audio (I would like tips on this as well).
As you can hear there's a lot of weird feedback. Is there a superior way to record audio to match with the video? Is the process I used to make this videos bad? It could just be as simple as a setting I could mess with, or maybe a better type of connection wire?
I want to share how I create beats with video, but the audio needs to be much better than this. Suggestions please, thank you
UPDATE/FIXED: After messing with the gain in the back of the Sample (and realizing it didn't make much of a difference in distorted feedback) I saw on my PC the volume for AUDIO INPUT was set at 100. I set it at 50 and it seems to have fixed the issue. Thank you all for the input and giving ideas. Appreciate it!
