Whole Foods Pizza Dough

I normally make my own dough cold ferment over 2 or 3 days and it works great for my preferred pizza style. I'm always looking for a store bought dough that compares to mine in terms of results and an easy to stretch dough that doesn't fight me.

The online frozen doughs are usually good but expensive. Store bought dough seems a mixed bag. Publix sold the worst dough I recall trying but Trader Joe's is just okay and Aldi dough can be decent. I've never bought dough from a local pizza place but I should probably try that some day.

My big surprise was trying dough from Whole Foods. It came fresh, not frozen and there was enough to make two 280g dough balls with some left over. Warmed at room temp for a few hours it was lovely to work with and stretched out nicely. It baked up as expected with nice browning and charring.

This was my first time in Whole Foods. I'm not a Bezos fan but they sell good pizza dough.

A fellow bari player who posts on Ukulele Underground put together his dream combo of baritone strings featuring some very unusual choices like a wound D string from a Lute.

He got Strings By Mail to offer this set for sale. LINK

I have no connection with this except my curiosity and I may buy a set for myself.
