I really wanted to avoid the "all-white hospital" look, so I brought in a lot of natural textures like the woven light fixture, the wood dining table, and the bistro-style stools. I’m happy with the warmth it adds, but I’m wondering if the different wood tone work together or feel a bit mismatched.

I’ve tried to balance a lot of different shapes in this room: the arched mirror, the round coffee table, and the square shelving frames. I love the high-contrast look of the black furniture against the neutral sofa, but I’m wondering if the layout feels harmonious or a bit cluttered.

I decided to go bold with the metals in this kitchen. We have black pendants and a black island, a gold faucet, and these copper rose gold handles on the appliances. I love the "custom" look it gives, but I’m wondering if it feels a bit too busy for a relatively compact space.

I’ve gone for a bit of a "metal mashup" here. I have black pendant lights and island, gold brass hardware on the sink, and those copper-toned handles on the fridge and oven. I love the variety, but I’m wondering if it feels curated or just messy

I love the open feel of my living room, but with the staircase and the high white walls, I’ve struggled to make it feel grounded. I’ve used a geometric rug and some bold abstract art to try and fill the space without making it look cluttered.

I’ve been trying to blend warm wood cabinets with bold black furniture like the sideboard and dining chairs. I love the contrast with the white quartz countertops, but I'm curious if the space feels cohesive or if there’s one element that stands out too much.

I love the open flow of my home, but I feel like the dining set is slightly "floating" in the middle of the room. I’ve tried to ground it with the large artwork and the chandelier, but I’m wondering if I need something on the floor or a change in lighting to make the zones feel more distinct.

I’ve gone for a high-contrast look with black nightstands and a white textured bench. I love how bright it feels, but I’m worried the area around the mirror and the far right corner looks a bit unfinished compared to the bed setup.

I’m really happy with the walnut-toned cabinets and the black hardware, but with all the white walls and the bright lighting, the space feels a little "cold." I want it to feel more like a spa and less like a standard new build.

I’ve been sticking to a strict black, white, and gold palette for this bedroom. I love the sunburst wall art and the bold pattern on the bed, but I feel like the room is missing some soul or "warmth." It currently feels more like a hotel room than a cozy bedroom.

I’ve been working on this space for a while now. I love the natural light and the high board-and-batten walls, but I’m wondering if I should lean more into the "Mid-Century Modern" vibe or try to add more color. The fireplace is a bold black, and I’ve tried to tie that in with the chandelier.

I love the high ceilings and the amount of space I have, but the room still feels a bit hollow. I’ve added the cowhide rug and a large clock to try and scale things up, but the walls still feel bare. Should I add a bench at the foot of the bed, or maybe a seating area in the corner? Also, would you do anything with the tray ceiling to make it a focal point?

I have this bright area right off the kitchen and living room, but I’m not sure how to furnish it. It feels like it could be a breakfast nook, a plant room, or even a cozy reading area. I love the wood trim and the views, but the white tile makes it feel a little "cold." Should I add a round table, or maybe some bench seating along the windows?

I’ve got these incredible high ceilings and a beautiful curved staircase, but the overall look feels a bit stuck in the 90s early 2000s. I’m considering swapping the chandelier for something more contemporary and maybe updating the carpet runner on the stairs. What would you do to give this a fresh, modern luxury feel?

u/Bitter_Studio_6286 — 16 days ago

I’m trying to balance the very traditional crown molding and chandelier with more modern, organic pieces like the driftwood-style console table and the abstract art. I love the banquet seating, but I’m wondering if the room feels too "crowded" with all these statement pieces. Should I simplify the window treatments or change the art to something more minimalist?

I have this large open basement with a bar at one end and a seating area at the other, but the middle feels like a "no man's land." I’m struggling to figure out how to arrange the furniture so it doesn't feel so spread out. Should I add a pool table, a large sectional, or maybe a rug to define the "lounge" vs. the "bar" area? Open to any layout ideas!

There’s something about the light in this spot that just works. I’ve tried to keep the colors soft with the sage walls and floral accents. It’s the quietest part of the house, tucked right behind the French doors. What do you think—does it need a small bookshelf or more plants to finish it off?

I have this matching white bedroom set that I really like, but the overall room feels a bit "traditional." I’m looking for ways to update the look. Should I swap out the curtains for a different color, change the rug, or maybe update the hardware on the dressers? Open to any suggestions to give it a fresh feel!

Just getting started on this bedroom. I currently have the bed by the window, but I’m worried it blocks too much of the light. Would it look better centered on the large blank wall, or should I keep the window area clear for a seating nook? Also looking for rug size recommendations!

I’ve got my desk setup started, but the rest of the room feels a bit cold. I'm looking for ideas on what to do with the large blank wall behind the rug. Should I go with a bookshelf, some large-scale art, or maybe a floor plant? Open to all suggestions!
