  • As per the PMC report, we were supposed to receive 25% additional area. However, the society is proceeding with a builder who is offering only 21% additional area, possibly due to an understanding between the builder and the committee. Is it legally permissible for the builder to provide less additional area than what is assessed in the PMC report?
  • As per the builder’s commitment, we were supposed to receive 550 sq. ft. of net area, inclusive of the 21% additional area they are willing. However, the builder is now stating that, based on their design and plans, the area comes to 557 sq. ft., and they are demanding payment for the additional 7 sq. ft. What rights do I have in this situation? Can I refuse to pay the extra amount and take legal action?
