Is a marketing degree worth it here?

I’m interested in pursuing a career in marketing, especially in growth and performance marketing, but I’m unsure what major would prepare me best at UCR.

I’m considering marketing, but I wonder if the curriculum is somewhat up to date with current industry trends and digital strategies. I’m also thinking about business analytics since it seems more data-driven, and I’m wondering if that might better support the kind of marketing career I want.

Would appreciate insight from anyone that knows a thing or two about BA or marketing at ucr. Thanks!

Would appreciate feedback before applying for internships this summer

I’m trying to land an internship for this summer and wanted honest feedback on whether my resume is competitive enough right now or even has a chance.
I know my experience is unconventional, so I’d really appreciate legit feedback on:
what looks weak or strong
whether my experience sounds valuable to recruiters
what kinds of internships/roles I realistically have a shot at

I’m especially wondering what should I prioritize over the next few months if internships don’t work out this cycle?
I’m open to blunt criticism, questions & specific advice. Thanks.
