Really enjoyed the Emissary tonight. Read a lot about it but honestly wasn't too sure what to expect. Turns out, it was a fantastic stick. Not bad to watch the sun come down over the Mississippi. And the rats. Oh so many rats.

Bangin' stick in Don Leoncio's cigar bar, New Orleans. I don't normally go for a full-bodied but I love My Father's and there was only one left in the box so figured I'd take a punt.

Outstanding. 1/3 was warm and earthy, 2/3 got a lot sweeter and creamier. 3/3 kept going out, actually, but as at second pic it was still super tasty. My Father's strikes again, for sure.
