My PD is August 14, 2013 and I have been current for 7 months now under EB3 and about 2 months for EB2. I recently got a RFIE to resubmit my medicals. Previously, I had submitted my medicals back in August 2022 upon the RFE triggered on my application and then there was a retrogression. Due to this my medicals had expired.
After raising Service requests through Emma and phone agents and my local congressman's office, USCIS responded after 5-6 weeks with a medical RFE.
USCIS send a new RFE on April 16, 2026 (finally) and I responded pretty quickly as I had my medicals ready. The medicals were delivered via Fedex express to USCIS Ohio field office last week April 23, 2026 which was confirmed via Fedex tracking.
Since then there hasn't been any updates and back in August 2022 USCIS had updated my application to say "your response to RFE was received and we will continue to work....."
However, this time there hasn't been any updates. What was your experience like after sending in RFE? How long did it take?
EDIT: Just came across this article https://www.murthy.com/2026/04/29/case-delays-due-to-increased-uscis-vetting/ . I guess waiting 13+ years felt an eternity. Even when close to finish line, it still feels like it's going to double drag!
