Quad Cortex: ELI5 how downloaded presets work.
Downloaded IRs and Neural Captures are straightforward: You can always add them to the grid by using a Neural Capture or IR Loader block.
But downloaded presets are confusing. I located the preset in my Preset/Downloaded folder and selected it and assigned it to a slot. I messed around with it for a few days, and decided I wanted a fresh version to do something different with. I go into my Downloaded folder and it's not there. I search the QC and the only result is the modified preset I've assigned to a slot, not the original one.
Did I do something wrong? Or are downloaded presets supposed to function as a single copy, no matter what? I assumed they'd function like NDSP's presets or other downloaded devices where the original copy is always accessible.
