So that is my first post on the complete internet.

I've had slot tracks since I was a kid. Also I built quite some model kits and dioramas. Now that I have "my" home I wanted to bring it all together and made this whole project from scratch during the winter.

I said "my" because I currently have a flatmate. Also I like the idea of not permanently losing 2m² of my home because of slot cars. Making a slick design that hides under a fully operational table just sounded smart.

I'm really proud how it turned out. I hesitated between recent F1 cars and vintage 60s-70s open road track, but 1/43 tends to have more cars at better visual quality with the modern F1.

Also I'm planning a series of videos to archive the work. Part 1 is available : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAjqCtFTQAU

I also use this project to learn about montage and video making overall, so it all looks "house made" to say the least. Feel free to share your thoughts !
