My management company is pretty poor on admin, as such we’ve received balancing charges for 5 out of the last 6 years.

Often they come through months later which is after we’ve filed our tax return - how do I account for this in terms of tax? Go back and do a correction for that year with HMRC or add it to the year when we are paying the outstanding balancing charges?
