I'm in a college class currently, and we have been watching clips from Frank Dikötter. He claims that the Chinese famine was not only a result of actions by Mao, but also that there was a large amount of executions and brutal actions taken against the people. While I have seen plenty of arguments against it being directly because of the government and Mao. I am more interested in disputing the claims against the brutality and executions does anyone know where I should look or have answers?
