I built a virtual software company for junior developers to practice real engineering work
I’m testing a small MVP called Bitora and looking for honest feedback.
The problem I’m exploring:
A lot of junior developers finish courses, build small projects, and still struggle with the gap between “I can code” and “I can work like an engineer.”
So I’m building a virtual software company environment where juniors can practice realistic engineering work before their first job.
Instead of more tutorials or coding challenges, users get:
- realistic tasks
- deadlines
- submissions
- code reviews
- feedback
It’s not meant to replace a real job.
It’s more like a bridge between learning and real engineering work.
I’m mainly looking for feedback on:
- Does the concept make sense?
- Is the onboarding clear?
- Do the tasks feel realistic or too hard?
- What would make this more useful for junior developers?
- What would make you come back?

If you try it, I’d really appreciate honest feedback.
