I feel like it belongs as a windows background
My newer puppy, almost 10 weeks old now, is a champ. We mostly pee on potty pads, mostly poop on them. And if not on them, somehow centimeters away from them.
But here's the problem, as soon as I got him, he ran into my ankle and ended up hurting it badly enough I cant take him on small walks. To help that, I have a long tie out and walk him outside in the yard slowly when its time for a potty break (every 2 hours). We train, we walk, we play, hell i even stand in place.
We've peed outside twice, pooped zero, and it doesnt matter how long we're out for. The moment he comes inside, he pees on the nearest pad.
Ive had dogs, but never a puppy. I need the pads because I really dont want to walk through a puddle of pee until its too late. Should we put one outside, and see if that gets the idea accross? We're still working on crate training, and hes so young I dont want to use it as a potty prison just yet.
