So I passed step 3, but barely. And I keep reading mixed opinions on how much it impacts your chances for residency. Does anyone know how much this affects the chances of matching into a competitive fellowship within a surgical field? Not IM. We do have our speciality-specific tests every year that they might look into a bit more but idk... just very sad about my score.
