Came across this bipedal robot pulling off handstands, natural walking, and ballet-style movements. Impressive to watch but curious what's actually running underneath — is this MPC, whole-body control, reinforcement learning, or some combination? And how do you even define a stable reference for something as dynamic as a handstand? Would love to hear what people think the architecture looks like.
