It seems everytime I start a new game (on the 2nd level, after the tutorial one) - I build a basic town thing, get supplies, HAVE PLENTY.

Then everyone decides to start fasting, making themselves miserable because they aren't eating or drinking (for GOD knows what reason!)

Like.... What on earth am I doing wrong? I've even tried turning up their daily allowances, because like I said, I have plenty, but yeah, I mainly notice it in the sailors (I thought this was something to do initially with them going out to sea and either A. Not coming back to town or B. Not setting out with rations or something?)

I dunno, I'm really stuck because of this, I'm gonna keep persevering just now and hopefully someone will have some information.
