With the weather starting to turn I’d love to start to bike downtown to work from the northwest side of the city (6 miles, 7.5 if I take the path by the lake).

I have been researching windbreakers and I have been able to find some good deals on running windbreakers and they seem to be a lot cheeper than any biking specific one. I saw that Gore was going out of business so I was going to try to get one of those, but if not would my hiking windbreaker work? I’m thinking something like a Patagonia Houdini.

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!
