Please, help me diagnose this problem (1988 Lancia Delta)
Hey everyone, first time posting here.
I apologize in advance for any errors as english is my second language.
Last year i bought a 1988 Lancia Delta LX 1.3 (carbureted version).
When i bought the car it ran fine, no issue at all, then, it sat for some months in my garage because i had some personal issues and had almost no free time.
A few days ago i finally started driving it again and i felt nothing wrong, the car was really smooth, until, i had to climb a steep hill, at this point the car starts to "stumble" and doesn't really climb rpm, even in first gear. After this problem the car starts to smell really bad for some minutes.
Of course this is undriveable because uphill starts are almost impossible as i have to floor it just to pick up any speed, and obviously the car starts bouncing again.
I was thinking it could be a clogged main jet, but when i floor the car on flat ground it runs well and i can't feel any power loss.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
