Husband having problems with dreading and balding. System never lasts 3 months.
Posting for my husband. He's had about five hair pieces now. First one from the salon, 3 from super hair pieces and now he's using Lord hair.
He has a couple issues.
First, his systems never last more than 3 months without a big bald spot in the middle. I feel like that might be a hair system problem but also the way he treats his hair. He wears a hard hat everyday at work, should he be using a hatliner? Would he get more wear out of it if he was a daily use kind of guy? We have so little time, he works 12 hours and we have a toddler so it's hard.
Installation normally takes him about an hour taping the entire thing so I don't know how he would do that everyday. Do you just put less tape on it since you're only using it for the day?
Second issue is the current hair system from Lord hair. It mats and dreads almost immediately after washing. He uses oils. He uses leave-in conditioner. He brushes in one direction. He only shampoos it once a week. Yesterday was his installation day. It was completely fine, he went to bed with a hair cap on and woke up to it completely dreaded. Is there anything he can do to prevent that or is it a system problem? The hair itself feels AWFUL. I know that it eventually starts to feel bad but it's doesn't even feel like real human hair.
He spent probably around $1,500 on hair pieces at this point, and it looks like he's getting about a third of the use out of them that normal people do. Maybe we try an AliExpress one? Any recommendations?
He's tried the mono when he first had an install. Then lace. Then he tried a full poly but he's really hot at work and he wears a hard hat so it just didn't stay on very well. So now he does a hybrid.
