Suite Pre-cruise and/or Platinum Latitude Pre-cruise concierge unavailable if you don't book directly with NCL....

I booked thru a travel agency (not directly with NCL). I'm both Platinum and staying in a Suite. I called NCL Pre-cruise concierge asking a few questions regarding my upcoming cruise, and to see what NCL is able to do via the Pre-cruise concierge desk. Essentially I was told they can't help me at all since I went thru a travel agency. Sounds crazy. I have to play "telephone" with my agency, they call NCL, then the back and forth continues until all issues (if any) are resolved. The way I see it is you don't get ANY pre-cruise benefits (either for the cabin category (suite in my case)) or Latitude level (Platinum in my case) if the room was booked outside of NCL. Am I reading this right?

I’m traveling on the Joy in a Family Suite (SJ) 2 bedroom suite. I get that the master BR has a Queen size bed, but I’m taking my daughter and husband with 3 year old. Does the second bedroom have any options besides a single lower twin and upper Pullman? Does the Joy have roll away twins to make a second queen?

Spouse and I are both Platinum. We are taking adult kids on an Alaska cruise. As we each get Platinum benefits when cruising (2 extra specialty dinners, laundry, water), we are thinking of booking in separate rooms to enjoy double benefits. Is it hard to swap rooms back on board and keep benefits for both rooms? Or just get extra room keys to swap “unofficially”? Anyone do this?
