Hi all,

I see all these posts with massive amounts of pedals.

I also see all the questions about tone-pedals.

If you cant get it done with max 6 pedals youre playing it wrong. (1 drive pedal, 1 reverb, 1 modulation pedal, 1 delay, 1 pitch shifter and maybe a looper or compressor of some sorts)

Also, most of someones tone comes from how you play an instrument, right?

Am i telling myself these stories that less is more and i just need to practice more?

Or do i need more pedals to make my sound better?

These are the questions i ask myself frequently and help me with GAS.

For instance, CB big time: great pedal. Its expensive but if i really 'need' it, then why not buy it?

Thought about it and realised: i already have a delay pedal that i like and use a lot. Do i really need all these extra options?

For me, less is more. The deeper the pedal, the deeper i get lost in twisting knobs and the lesser i actually play.

Does anyone else have mindfull insights about their gear, their playing or their solutions to GAS?

Thanks.
