Look, I know FNAF has had its highs and lows throughout the years, however, after the FNAF 2 Movie, everything has suddenly gone down hill, and it’s bad. I think everything that has been happening, from the FNAF 2 Movie Book, to Steel Wool not giving a shit about quality and releasing a rushed build out there, and the clear lack of marketing and communication, is all Scott’s fault. Sure the fumbling of the SOTM VR port is Steel Wool’s fault, but at the end of the day it’s Scott’s fault, because he doesn’t do anything about it anymore. It’s gotten to a point where big figures in the FNAF community have had enough of it. I feel like a huge uproar of posts about all of FNAF’s problems as a franchise currently could serve as a wake up call for Scott. It worked when enough people made a fuss about LadyFiszi and PinkyPills, so why not do it again? Make some noise, show your angry about the current state that FNAF is in, hell, demand for better shit.
I’m sorry if this sounds like spoiled or anything, but as someone who has been fixated on FNAF all of my life, and being the game that got me into horror, it hurts to see FNAF being in this state, and I want things to change for the better.
TL;DR make some noise, make posts stating about the recent problems with FNAF, suggest better marketing, suggest for a new ScottGames website, and make posts criticizing both Scott and Steel Wool.
Edit: so apparently Steel Wool isn’t responsible for the SOTM VR port, they outsourced it to a different company, and apparently that’s why it’s the way it is.
I seriously think Steel Wool needed to clarify that, or should have delayed the whole thing itself so that way they’d have time to work on it in their own time after they finish the next FNAF game, or outsourced it to a more experienced VR porting team
