What was offered vs what was eaten… Fussy toddler phase

Inspired by someone’s recipe I found on here, this is carrot and swede mash blended into a sauce with pasta stars and grated cheese. with a side of blueberries, my son’s current favourite thing.

He ate more blueberries than you would expect a toddler to be capable of, he didn’t really like the pasta, but I managed to sneak in a few spoonfuls into him in between blueberries. He then had a small amount of peach, which he wasn’t keen on, then a fruit pouch (his iron supplement hidden in the fruit pouch) and a spoonful of peanut butter.

What was offered vs what was eaten:

Salmon fillet baked with butter, sliced cucumber, blueberries, bananas with a side of sweet potato mash with butter (and some salmon is also hidden in the mash, because I have to be sneaky to get some protein in him!).

He ate a few flakes of salmon, 1 banana slice, all the blueberries and most of the mash potatoes. He also had a fruit pouch, which I hid his iron supplement in. My son is 16 months old and the only thing I can guarantee he will eat at dinner is blueberries, he prefers mashed textures but I’m trying to transition him onto proper food.
