MotS (Mark of the Stars) is a brand new server I’ve been building. It is loosely set on the Island of Madagascar featuring the many different biomes and wildlife there. There are two different clans, Boneclan and Mistclan, as well as a tribe, Tribe of the Rising Sun.
Boneclan is the most territorial and aggressive clan. They do not take in outsiders and are mainly consisting of rogues, loners, and exiled clan cats that formed the clan. They reside in the grasslands where the weather can be unpredictable. Cover is hard to come by so many cats have burrowed inside the skeletons of large prey. They parade their scars as a show of victory and strength.
Mistclan shrouds themselves in misty fog inside a rainforest. They are the most mysterious of the clans. These cats are rarely seen, blending in amongst the dangerous biome. They tend to be the most diverse and are not known to accept outsiders. A cat must pass a series of trials and tests to be considered one of their own. No cats outside of the clan know what the trials consist of because failure means death, there is no backing out.
The Tribe of the Rising Sun believe that they are the saviors and the salvation of all cats. They have built around an oasis that they believe is Starclan itself. They’re surrounded by an endless desert where many have perished. These cats will accept any and all cats, believing they must spread the will of Starclan.
Finally there is an abandoned shipwreck along the coast where outsiders reside. Many cats have nicknamed them as mousers, a term from a long time ago where two-legs out at sea nicknamed the cats amongst ships.
