When I started getting better at beat saber, I disabled the haptics. This increased my accuracy dramatically as I find haptics clunky for rhythm games. When I initially disabled it in the meta settings, I would set the slider all the way to the left but it wouldn't stay there - it immediately jumped back to the middle of the slider, although the haptics were disabled.
I didn't complain as I got what I wanted, but the other night my mate wanted to play vtol vr with me, so I enabled haptics again as they are much more useful in vtol. Yet now going back to disable the haptics to play beat saber, the slider stays all the way to the left instead of jumping back to the middle, and I still feel a slight amount of haptic feedback, it's still enough for it to be a problem for me. Is there ANY other way I can disable the haptics on standalone, or am I cooked? Thanks guys.
