Asbestos Cement Transit Pipe after sewer replacement

The sewer main runs across my property and the township had it replaced recently. The old pipe was asbestos cement. The workers were bagging it during the work, but I just walked down the site and noticed lots of small pieces and some larger pieces of the old pipe scattered around the perimeter of the work area. They're going to come back and clean it up, but how concerned should I be about the state it was left in? I know the pipe was in bad shape and crumbling during removal. I'm now concerned about how much of the old pipe remains in the backfill and how extensive it is in the topsoil on my property.

I marked what I saw and I took photos. In all I placed over 50 flags along the work path.
