Uhh, my favourite girl names?

Putting satire because I have no idea what to tag this under. Oh, and this is my first time posting so if this doesn’t fit the sub, please tell me 🙂

So I think I have some pretty tame favourite boy names (Andre, Damien, Hundrabungysn, Noel - although I pronounce it NO-elle), however, I think my girl names are a bit… ehh. I’ll start listing in no particular order:

Doriane

Danae

Lainey

Rio

Olive/Olivia

Nia

Juno

And finally, my two worst ones IMO, Andromeda and Ariadne.

So… roast away I guess?

I’ll share mine with the reasons as well (please don’t make fun of me 😭):

  1. Damien Leigh/Hubbard (girl, I don’t think I can sing that high and I have no experience of tap-dancing). Although I made a lesbian redo of ‘Stop’, I don’t think it’ll do…
  2. JD (girl, I don’t think I can sing that high, and I’m uncomfortable with kissing).
  3. Heather Duke (I can’t sing that high and I don’t have that pitch-perfect physique). If only I lived in a pre-WE world… 😔
  4. Professor Callahan, maybe (girl and I don’t think I can sing that high).

I like being a girl, but if I could change my gender for one occasion, it would be for a dream role… What about you? :^

So I’m trying to write a charismatic, ex-showbiz guy, but I feel like he just comes off as obnoxious, annoying, and tryhard. I mean, he’s meant to be seen like that to a single character, but I want him to be suave in general. He’s also a secret villain but that’s another story.

Is there any advice that I can take to make him more likeable?

So I recently opened up my laptop and found this blurb I wrote for my story idea ‘Purgatory Plaza’. However, I have some problems…

For context: PurPla is about a recently-deceased, cynical Leon Yester arriving in Purgatory: a surreal, bureaucratic wasteland. He find himself applying for a waiter in a nightclub called the ‘Pristine Plaza’ and basically, the series is about them trying to improve the business while facing the problems and challenges Purgatory has to offer, while also processing their own trauma.

My problem with this blurb is that I think it’s a bit too long, and I keep using that sentence structure when you put the sub clause at the start. Also, I think it’s REALLY corny and a bit unfunny.

I need help 😭

But first, some *itty-bitty* ground rules (or just things to know):

  1. If you have a complex design, then I might have to simple it down a bit.

  2. I can ***try*** mechas and furries, but I might mess up a bit.

  3. To clarify, they’ll be in my much cleaner, less scrunched notebook.

  4. If you want to submit more than one, do so!

  5. Please specify a facial expression and (optional) what prop you want them to hold.

  6. Of course, specify the style you want. If ya don’t, then I’ll spin a wheel.

(7. A bit of a weird one, but I’d appreciate a ‘please’ at least).

I’ll show you Mandy! She’s a bubbly, sweet woollen goober who always brings me comfort when I do stuff with her. A fun fact is that her favourite bug is a ladybug, which are called ‘spotty-flights’ in her world, World! She brings me comfort because she’s probably one of my most wholesome OCs and she just’s just really cute IMO.

I also have Thermos, Noel and Nabi, but I don’t have any pleasant art of them yet, so I’ll give Mandy.

So if you want to share your comfort OCs (and maybe a fun fact or the reason why they are), feel free to do so :)

Edit: I meant HYPOchondria, not the brain cell 😭
