Casual game day with Ambull Adversary Ops
Casual game checking out the Nemesis Operative PvPvE Ambull mission. Mini that I had laying around forgotten on sprue from a Combat Arena Lair of the Beast box I bought long ago.
Blooded vs Farstalker Kindband.
Damn monster killed 3 operatives and injured 4 more after with Fights and its Pulse d6 damage.
Highlights of the game were the Ambull ambush card being the last to be draw, so the kroot player used Poach Firefight Ploy close to Blooded player to make the Ambull show up closer to them and wreak havoc. After the Blooded took 5 whole activations to take the Ambull to 4 wounds left, the Kroot player stole the kill with his LongSight to snipe the Ambull and take the 2VP.
Fun game mode. This map mission makes for fast and aggressive plays with 2 objectives being so close to one another. Making cagey plays difficult.
Last image is the ambull fully painted and varnished (couldn't finish him on time for our game).
Has anyone else tried the Ambull mission or the Archivist one? What are your thoughts on these 2 Nemesis Operatives so far?
