Looking for opinions and input from the reddit folks.

As a kid i grew up in Hong Kong and was taught to write with my right hand.

However, I use my left hand for everything else that requires dexterity and precision. I use a hammer, saw, knife, scissors with my left hand always.

My RH is stronger slightly for whatever reason.

Iam right eye dominant.

I can shoot a pistol with both hands well, but shoot slightly tighter groups with my LH.

I kick a soccer ball with my left leg. The issue I have is that my left ankle was broken several years ago and I have less stability with that foot. My right leg is stronger due to the compensation thru the years.

Should I box from a orthodox stance and keep my strong leg back? Or should I box from a southpaw stance?

My coach says it's up to me. But he says my left hand definitely more accurate then my RH in either stance.

Would like to hear input from other's who have similar attributes.

Beginner boxer with 3 months of training. Taught orthodox stance from the get go.

Prior to boxing, practiced escrima and kali for many years.

Ty.
